Chemist – Permanent – North West – Polymer

Our client is a leading global manufacturer within the paper industry and due to increase in workload and capital spend an opportunity has opened up for a senior resin formulation and material development chemist to work at their north west based site.

You will be a degree qualified chemist or polymer scientist with industrial experience. You must be able to show an expertise in bench work and in the formulation of castable polyurethane resin systems. Experience with other polyurethane, elastomers and nanocomposites would be preferred but not essential to the role.

The role will require you to project lead as well as being part of a team and provide the internal expertise in polyurethane resin system formulation and new material development. You will be expected to provide help and support to the technicians within the lab and also to other chemist within the project.
