Our client seeks a Motor Claims Handler to be based at their office in Bolton.
The Motor Claims Handler will be responsible for dealing with a variety of motor claims from initial receipt. Duties will comprise of taking full particulars of new claims from clients, organising inspections, obtaining necessary reports and statements from third parties, solicitors and mechanics as necessary, before compiling a comprehensive report for submission to the insurer for settlement. The Motor Claims Handler will check policy wording and chase up the insurer to ensure claims are settled in line with policy cover and in timely fashion, updating records as necessary and producing any relevant documentation to ensure effective management of the claims process.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1/2 years' motor claims experience, gained within broker or insurance company. The Motor Claims Handler will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work as an effective member of a team.
