I am currently looking to recruit a Mathematics Teacher for a secondary school in Carlisle. The school is a 11-18 co-ed school and the position is available for a temporary period until July 2010 with immediate start.

The school is looking to recruit a Mathematics specialist who is suitably qualified and has experience of teaching Maths up to GCSE - candidates who have experience of teaching the subject to A-Level would be at an advantage, however this is not essential.

The successful candidate will

* Have QTS or an overseas equivalent qualification
* Be well organised with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
* Have knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
* Have great organisation and time management skills
* Have the ability to teach Mathematics to Key Stage 4
