RGN required to join the care team in a 32 bed nursing home overlooking Morecambe Bay.

Pay £11.20/hour, normal working week 36 to include days, nights and weekends on a rota basis. Additional hours are usually available if desired.

Clients present with the usual challenges older age brings, therefore previous experience within a nursing home setting is preferred.

The Staff Nurse reports to the Head of Care.

Duties include:

- administering medication
- changing dressings / wound care
- liaising with GPs when necessary
- updating resident care plans and daily care reports
- supervising other care staff.

May be "In Charge" of the Home on evenings, nights and weekends.
