It systems and network support administrator
My client based in Lancashire require an IT systems and network support administrator to strenghten their team.
This is a permanent role for an initial 3 month fixed term period with a potential view to stay for a further 6 months afterwards ( 9 months in total ).
My client need solid skills in Windows 2000 desktops and MS Office 2000/2007 together with experience of Exchange 2000 and Active Directory. They are currently in the process of migrating their Exchange 2000 to 2007 and their SQL 2000 to 2005 - so experience of migrating and updating these systems would also be highly desirable.
Other highly desirable skills are strong commercial experience of working with Windows 2000 and 2003 Servers in TCP/IP , LAN and WAN network environments.
Desirable skills are experience in support and roll out of mobile phones and blackberry devices.
