Greater Manchester, Hospital Social Worker
Local authority based in Greater Lancashire is looking for a qualified social worker for a hospital services position. (ASAP start date)
Our client is looking for a candidate who holds experience within adults safeguarding services and continual care best interest meetings. The position is based on a busy hospital ward, candidates should be able to work within a fast paced environment effectively and efficiently. This position is Monday to Friday normal office hours, to start ASAP, the position is to be reviewed again in the new year.
Candidate Key Skills & Abilities: Assessment, case management/planning, Effective communication and diplomacy skills, ability to manage constant and conflicting demands, Ability to assess and manage risk.
Education & Qualifications: Professional Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent). Please note the CSS qualification is only deemed equivalent if appropriate post qualifying training has been undertaken.
The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW (or equivalent), must be registered with the GSCC, have a current CRB and hold a valid UK driving license. The post is looking to run for a minimum 4 months contract.
