To coordinate Direct Short Breaks service at local level in line with the national service model and local service level agreements. Service delivery will exceed the National Minimum Standards for Domiciliary Care.

To provide a high quality service which supports the growth, development and inclusion of Disabled children and young people and contribute towards positive Every Child Matters outcomes.

To provide a high quality service which allows parent/carers to take a break from their caring responsibilities.

To champion Direct Short Breaks in the local area to all relevant stakeholders.

To supervise Short Break Workers and support their continual professional development.

Based in North West - Blackburn with Darwen £19,795 pro rata P/T 18 hours.
