General skills/experience as below, increasing in depth and breadth the more senior the level.

Duties: (Engineer) - Designing power systems, short circuit calculations and protection co-ordination. Specification and requisitioning of equipment, technical bid evaluations. Input to drawing office deliverables. Co-ordinating/interfacing with other disciplines.

(Senior and Principal) - as above, plus technical review of documents produced by others, developing design criteria, co-ordination, interfacing and liaison with clients and vendors. Resource planning and management.

Experience: Must have experience in engineering design of electrical installations associated with petrochemical and process plants. Experienced in the use of power system software, particularly high voltage systems up to and including 33kV.
Quals: BSc Elect Eng or HND/HNC with suitable experience. CEng or working towards CEng status.
