Deputy Manager
Deputy Manager required for a fantastic purpose built nursing home which specialises in caring for the frail elderly. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to move up the ranks into a Deputy Management post and an opportunity not to be missed!
Working alongside the Home Manager you will be working on the floor with responsibilities including maintaining care standards within this busy home and ensuring residents needs are met at all levels. In addition you will be responsible for administering medication and updating care plans and risk assessments.
The successful candidate for the position of Deputy Manager will be a qualified RGN or RMN and have 6 months + experience of caring for the frail elderly ideally previously within a nursing / care home setting. You will possess good planning and documentation skills and ideally have experience of auditing although this is not essential. My client are looking for candidates who have good person centred care experience with a positive attitude and someone who will lead by example.
Managerial experience is not essential as full training will be given, however candidates with proven supervisory experience will have a distinct advantage.
My client are based in the North West on the outskirts of Carlisle with good public transport and motorway links commutable from the following; Great Orton, Hornsby, Brunstock, Harker Park, Smithfield and surrounding areas.
