A qualified social worker is required to work in a Lancashire substance misuse team. The role will involve managing a caseload of drug and alcohol clients, mainly in residential rehabilitation. Clients will need to be reviewed to assess whether there is need to continue residential treatment and the majority of the caseload can be distance managed by telephone. This will involve conducting assessment through interview to ascertain if residential rehabilitation or day care services are appropriate.
