Smithills Cricket Club is a small club based in Bolton and has been a member of the Greater Manchester Amateur League for a considerable number of years.

We are seeking a few new players to boost our squad numbers for the coming season. In particular, an experienced opening/1st change fast/medium pace bowler. However, all standards are welcome and we are a friendly and welcoming Club.

Most league away fixtures are based around the Manchester area but you must be able to travel to Bolton for all home fixtures and practice sessions.

Practice sessions are currently held every Saturday between 1pm and 2pm at Smithills Sports Centre, Smithills School, Smithills Dean Road, Bolton.

Once the season starts practice sessions will be held Outdoors on Thursday evenings at our home ground which is based adjacent to the sports centre.
