My client a global organisation with a prestigious reputation requires a Senior IT Supplier Manager to manage key supplier relationships within the UK IT strategic supply chain.

The successful candidate will manage key supplier relationships within the supply chain and resource requirements.

The role will entail all aspects of supplier engagement and compliance with Group policies. The ability to proactively lead negotiations with suppliers on an on going basis to reflect evolving business requirements and demonstrate improvements in the value of delivered services is vital

it is important to ensure supplier contractual obligations are clearly understood, effecting remedies to address non compliance, continually challenge operational requirements and supplier spend

In addition to this the successful candidate will be expected to develop SLAs between customer and suppliers. To succeed in this role its crucial you have an excellent ability to manage in a commercial environment and procurement in relevant business areas , must have a fluent understanding of contract law, processes and techniques including supply chain management, Total Cost Modelling and supplier performance metrics
