Purpose of Job:

The driving and operation of mechanical sweeping vehicles and other street cleansing vehicles up to 7.5 tonne.
To cover a variety of environmental cleanup operations including the mechanical and manual removal of litter, fly tipping, fly posting and graffiti.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
To operate sweeping, litter picking, fly tipping, fly posting and graffiti removal equipment working on your own or in a small team.
To clean all pathways, verges, roads, shrubbed / grassed areas, and other public open spaces of litter, fly tipping, fly posting, graffiti and other wastes.
Driving various street cleansing vehicles up to 7.5 tonne gross weight.
To work with new technologies including data transfer equipment, global positioning systems, handheld computers etc.
Required to assist on Refuse Collection

Mus hold 7.5 driving licence. Please includes NI NO, DoB and Ethncity on application.
