- We are looking for Senior Carers for permanent positions in a large, high quality nursing home in Preston.
- The service provides nursing and residential dementia care for elderly people.
- The successful applicant will receive training to dispense medication and write care plans.
- Experience and empathy working with elderly service users is essential.
- You will need to work in line with current legislation and guidelines.
- You must hold a minimum of NVQ 2 and preferably hold NVQ 3
- You should be able to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team.
- Experience with challenging behaviour is desirable.
- Experience with dementia care is desirable.
- A choice of night shifts is available, working either 36 or 48 hours per week.
