Hello.

Our band ‘Stop The Blackout’ from Manchester are currently seeking a new Guitarist who can play both Rhythm and Lead to an decent standard... If you like what you hear then please get in touch. Our music combines bright modern indie-esq pop tunes with a dark and experimental twist.

We have supported top bands such as 'Editors', 'Oceansize', 'Kid British', 'One Night Only', been on radio stations such as 'XFM' and 'Radio 1'), done the interviews, been in magazines, got the contacts but with our Guitarist moving abroad things have been put on hold for the moment.

We seek someone ideally 19 – 27ish who is prepared to gig, rehearse, record etc…in an attempt to sign a deal and make music their career. We currently rehearse in Stockport. We play to a click and use a laptop and samples.

In the band so far is:

- Vocals / Guitar Piano
- Bass / Vocals / Laptop / Samples
- Drums
