I'm looking to start a new band from scratch. I'm a guitarist, and ideally I'd like another guitarist, bassist, drummer, maybe a keyboardist, and obviously it'd help if you can sing.

I'm not interested in past experience or songwriting ability as such. Most important is that we're on the same kind of wavelength. If you listen to the kind of thing you'd read about on Pitchfork, you're probably the kind of person I'm looking for.

The vision I have for this band is that we'll write atmospheric, complex tunes with great vocal harmonies and just the right mix of catchy melody and lo-fi subtlety. The kind of thing bands like Animal Collective and Grizzly Bear are coming out with, but obviously we'll make it our own.
