Housing benefit is paid one month in arrears so you need to be willing to accept either 1. Deposit to the value of one month rent with the rent being paid in arrears by housing benefit or 2. One month rent in advance without a deposit but with an extra figure of for example £50 a month until a deposit is secured. We understand that this is not the norm but given our situation this is all that we can do.
