Of course not neccessarily focus on the one thing but make a real effort to discuss the good things in life too that always help Because they do exist From my own experience I know depression very deep feelings can become stigmatised and often the very people close to you are the ones it can be hardest for and find it most difficult to understand. Having somone to talk to support from (not solely rely on) but who can understand and relate to knowing your feelings and is there to listen but who has not known you for a long time can sometimes help in knowing you are not alone. I have experienced both depression thoughts of suicide on more than one occasion but somehow managed through and i know i need to focus on that. I am in a slightly better place now and would like to build supportive contact with others too as long as we both agree we are a supportive relationship and it does not mean either of us should not also keep in mind the professional help we may need from time to time. And in desperate times we can support and listenencourage but we can never be rescuers. I am simply reaching out to anyone who also feels this way or has had experience of it recently or with it recurring. Your not alone.
