Weekly belly dance classes
Learn to bellydance. A beautiful dance form that caters for everyone regardless of age, size or shape, and which is also soft on the joints.
There are many physical benefits from this dance, such as increased flexibility of the spine and joints, improved muscle tone, posture and co-ordination. It is also good for period pains, and can also bring relief during childbirth (I know, because it worked for me - twice...). It's also good for the soul, and can make the dancer feel at peace within themselves.
So, if you'd like to try something new, enjoy your body moving in ways you never expected it to, and want to have fun at the same time, this is the perfect opportunity.
For anyone interested in coming to classes, wear loose, comfortable clothing. This dance is normally done barefoot, but soft flexible dance shoes may be worn.
Please arrive at 19.15.
Classes run every Friday between 7.30 - 8.30pm.
