A Lancashire based design agency requires a web developer to join their growing team. The role covers all aspects of web development and web design from conception, planning, building, and testing through to implementation and support.

You should be proficient in the major programming languages (front end and server side) and code competently to W3C standards. You will also be familiar with industry standard software, servers and relevant web technologies.

In short the role will cover: Web design and development, Scripting (HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL etc), CMS, E-commerce, Search engine optimisation and web advertising, Databases, Email marketing.

Personal
We are seeking a web developer with experience gained from the work environment, preferably more than 1 year. Candidates must have an eye for design with excellent communication and organisation skills. You will be working in a closely-knit team and your day to day duties will vary; e.g. designing new websites, refreshing existing sites, website amendments, database work, SEO and support. This role is best suited to a local candidate who is based close to North Manchester or South Lancashire.

Academic
You will be qualified in a Web Design, Multimedia or I.T. based subject to a degree level or similar.
